Local Businesses Gave Us Our Start
Our founder and namesake Ed “Ace” Heilman founded Ace Linen Service in 1932 as a way to make ends meet during the Great Depression, a time of unprecedented financial struggle for most Americans. In these troubled times, it was the other local small businesses that were Ace Linen Service’s first clients, providing Ed with the ability to grow and expand the business for future generations. 90 years later, we are staying true to our founder’s vision by remaining family owned and loyally serving our Houston, Kansas City, and Beaumont communities.
We Make Sure Our Employees Feel the Love
When you work at a family-owned business, you don’t just become employees, you become a member of our family. At Ace, we pride ourselves on making sure every member of our team is able to bring their thoughts and ideas to the table. Since everyone on our team is out in the field or in the facility every day, they know first hand what does or doesn’t work, and we always make sure to utilize their valuable input. At Ace, we don’t want to just create jobs, we want to create careers. We do not believe that our employees are replaceable. For example, just this month we have 3 employee anniversaries who have 81 combined years of experience!
